Política de Privacidade
Última atualização: 2026-06-11
This Privacy Policy explains how AcuReco ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal information when you visit acureco.com (the "Site") or purchase our products. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are (Data Controller)
AcuReco operates this Site and acts as the data controller for the personal information described here. AcuReco is an independent reseller of the "Sporban" / AcuPatch product manufactured by Yutoku Yakuhin Kogyo Co., Ltd. For any privacy-related request, you can reach us at privacy@acureco.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Order & shipping information. When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping address (street, city, state/province, postal code, country) and, optionally, your phone number, so that we can fulfil and deliver your order.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not collect or store your card or bank details. Once a payment is completed, PayPal provides us with your name, email address, and a transaction (order) identifier, which we retain as our record of the sale.
- Contact & support information. When you use our contact form or chat widget, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message in order to respond to you and keep a support history.
- Waitlist / marketing sign-ups. If you join our launch waitlist, we collect your email address and generate a unique discount coupon associated with it.
- Usage & analytics data. We use a privacy-focused analytics service (Umami) that collects aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics such as page views, referring website, approximate region, browser, and device type. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
- Technical & security data. Our hosting and error-monitoring providers may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, request timestamps, and error diagnostics to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To process, fulfil, and ship your orders and to send order confirmations.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To deliver waitlist coupons and related launch communications you have requested.
- To validate and apply discount or promotional coupon codes.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our products.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to process and deliver your order); consent (for waitlist sign-ups and optional communications, which you may withdraw at any time); legitimate interests (to secure, analyse, and improve the Site, and to prevent fraud); and compliance with a legal obligation (such as tax and accounting record-keeping).
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers ("sub-processors") that help us operate the Site and fulfil orders, and only to the extent necessary. These currently include:
- PayPal — payment processing.
- Resend — sending transactional and confirmation emails.
- Netlify — website hosting and delivery.
- Supabase — managed database hosting for order, support, and waitlist records.
- Umami — privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics.
- Sentry — application error monitoring and diagnostics.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order to the address you provide.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AcuReco, our customers, or others. If AcuReco is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as our providers' standard contractual clauses) to protect it in accordance with applicable law.
7. Cookies & Consent
We use a cookie-consent management tool (CookieYes) to present a consent banner and to record your cookie preferences. CookieYes sets a small number of cookies that store your consent choices and allow the banner to function. You can review and change your preferences at any time using the consent banner or cookie-settings link on the Site.
Beyond consent management, we use a single functional cookie to remember your selected language preference, and our admin area uses a strictly necessary session cookie for authentication. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our website analytics provider (Umami) operates without cookies. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling the functional cookie may affect your language preference.
8. Data Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as necessary to fulfil orders, provide support, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Support messages are retained while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Waitlist sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them or the related promotion ends. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted administrative access protected by hashed credentials and time-limited sessions, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@acureco.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site and our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be communicated through the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
14. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact us at privacy@acureco.com.
